Reporting from a visit of the second recruiting trade show in the Metropolitan Upper Rhine Region

Being asked about new trends in South East Asia Ulrich H. Kiefer answered to questions like ‘What are the new trends in HR recruiting in the Greater Shanghai Region’…

One of the valid answers were: the situations will be changing rapidly due to an unhealthy demographic development in some Central European countries.

Thus asking the local HR manager’s plans in their strategy to scout for and finally catch the talented people the surprised facelift was really stunning:
– How to Win more time now with better strategies as the lessonss-to-learn from Asia Pacific?
– How to invest time in the research on foreign markets f.e. in the fields of HR development analysis?
– How to change the actual offline situation into online scenarios in selected social media.

Finally, Ulrich H. Kiefer mentioned the key phrase you can hear in the streats of Hong Kong and other metropoles everyday and everywhere: ‘This-Is-China’.

It sounded really strange, that old friends called and said: ‘we arrived in the EU for round trips in Europe’.

The routing sounded like some former tough schedules of advanced people for example from Asia… Paris in May-days

Invading Germany via Rome or Spain, moving quickly to London in April 2011 to see the queens and back home…

By the way, thinking of the two kisses of the couple of the year, I just remembered that video, which you can hear and listen by clicking the link below…

The story I want to report here is about a very different historic event that had started in the city of the Offenburg many years ago.

The city, located in a Black Forest region, is now the centre of the so called Metropolitan Upper Rhine Region.

High above the city, in the Media Tower, the press had gathered to learn more about interesting plans for the outstanding region:

‘Guess what?’ the German entertainment show, happened there on April 30, the final show here And, during the event it has reflected the famous marriage in London, gathering an estimated global audience in TV of more than 2 to 3 billion people.

As a result, people choose that routing: Southern EU, directly to Northern and then to Western Europe in the Benelux: before they visited the market place in Offenburg to see

I think, travelling might be fair priced or cheaper than elsewhere but at the same time much more expensive than planned due to those reduced capacities in the carriers… Here it worked well: book your seats within the last 48-72 hours before departure tomorrow… The independent lifestyle is therefore included….

People around got nervous or some even angry… desperate or less healthy talks about the future… and the management told better to cancel the meeting at once… and the officials telling me that no English press release were available in this beam be town, yeah…

So the weather was fine the day before the event started… All around us: the lovely sun shine, a fantastic blue sky, happy people and pretty colours…
