The Gobi Desert in the Black Forest?

The historic Black Forest cattle have vanished. The animals try to hide under trees with new born calves. And, the farmer must deliver daily fresh water in tanks for the grazing cattle. We hear that the farmer had to cut the yellow grass for the winter season last week.

Thus, the remaining food on the meadow is dry: fresh hay must be fed to the cattle now. The leading bull (on the photo) tries to escape the thoroughly burning sun on its skin. Will beef be cheap this year and prices for milk, maize and wood skyrocket then?

Anyway, the famous Black Forest region will change its former special colours from dark green healthy looks into a new Gobi-yellow fading-out appearance. This is due to the climate change impact that might arrive not before 2030 or 2050…

Shall we believe those sweet little lies posted through the media, digested before in our capital cities? And if some visitors may plan to breathe deeply and then smoke in the yellow green woods: drastic fires are most likely – similar to the sad events we can see in California…

Who may ask the leadership teams unhappy questions like: “Who will do what until when with whom to change our living conditions?” Will we hear real answers, or eventually some conditioning promises for the future, that will change within weeks…?

And more, a well-known restaurant a traditional Black Forest BeeR Angle will close soon! Being asked for the reason, the cook and owner say: “The ongoing pressure from the bureaucracy on those private investors plus suddenly increasing skills shortage in the fields of marketing” all-in-one the actually missing talents create ghost villages in the Black Forest!”

But, the holiday catalogs from our region still present the mountains with the dark green woods although we should request better research on how to stop the climate change here – and out there – in your areas for sure, as well. The request for better support of tourists in their fight against the consequences of climate change impacts, this is what could be promoted now.

Who pays what? for “Being active!”

Finally, requesting intelligent solutions for an improved global fresh water management and a guarantee for cleaner air for the coming generations: this is what touches all of us, but the cattle feel it already now.

The traditional Black Forest cows did not survive there. So, the other questions like: “Who will stop ultimately the increasing pollution with plastics in the oceans worldwide” isn’t regarded yet: it is important, even more!”

Thank you for your attention and your esteemed time.

Merci!
